Are you aged 14-19, into theatre with a talent for script writing?
If so, here is your chance to win a pair of tickets to see Hamlet at Young Vic Theatre, with Michael Sheen in the lead role.
Teen book community Spinebreakers is now launching a competition, where you are asked to write one scene of a play with the theme madness and revenge. You then need to e-mail it as a word document to hello@spinebreakers.co.uk by January 9th 2012. Remember to subject title the e-mail ‘Hamlet Competition’.
If you manage to impress the judges, David Lan (Young Vic Artistic Director) and Anca Chung (Young Vic Marketing Director), you might be one of the two winners who get to watch this theatrical sold-out event, on its closing night January 21st. In addition, the winners will also receive a poster and programme signed by Sheen himself.
If you do not make it to the top, you can still be one out of 13 runners-up who will receive a special Spinebreakers edition of Hamlet.
So grab that pen, let loose your imagination and start writing!
