Are  you struggling to find out what to do the coming week? Don’t worry, Live Magazine is here to your rescue as we’ve found a range of fun activities for you to check out, whether you live in London, Birmingham, Liverpool or Manchester.

Friday 2nd December: If you live in London and fancy a laugh, why don’t you pop down to The Bedford in Balham for its weekly comedy night ‘Banana Cabaret’? This week you’ll be entertained by Paul Tonkinson, Rudi Lickwood,
Pierre Hollins
and Chris McCausland. It costs £14, and the price includes buffet and free entry to their club night afterwards. You have to be 18 to attend.

Saturday 3rd December: Liverpool’s Craft and Christmas Sale takes place at Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre from 10am-4pm. Here you’ll have the chance to buy some original gifts and, if you have homemade or handmade goods to sell, you can even buy a stand for £10 and sell your stuff.

Sunday 4th December: Birmingham! If you’re into indie rock music, Hare and Hounds is the place to be tonight. Scottish band We Were Promised Jetpacks are performing, supported by Let’s Buy Happiness. The event starts at 7 pm, tickets are £7 and it is an 18+ event.

Monday 5th December: A great Monday activity would be to visit London Piazza at the O2 arena, where 100 up-and-coming musicians will play gigs over the course of 20 days. And the best part: it’s totally free! The Monday gigs will be performed by Andrew Balkwil, Ry Byron, Mary Leay, Kingtastic, and Son of Jack. It starts at 4pm and is for all ages. You don’t need a ticket, you can simply show up at the arena and enjoy the show.

Tuesday 6th December: If you are an aspiring actor, here’s your chance to share ideas, try out your skills and simply have fun. Join the Liverpool Network Theatre Group’s weekly workshop at Everyman Theatre from 7-9pm. Regardless of experience, everyone from 18 and above is welcome. It costs only £1.

Wednesday 7th December: Fancy getting into that festive spirit with a free trip to the cinema? W London Hotel offers free Christmas cinema at the Leicester Square Screening Room, and on Wednesday night The Nightmare Before Christmas will be shown. E-mail denne.dempsey@whotels.com to book tickets. All ages are allowed.

Thursday 8th December: If you live in Manchester, here’s a great opportunity for some theatrical fun. Palace Theatre will be showing a performance of classic Dirty Dancing, and there are still a few tickets left for the 7.30pm performance. Visit here or call 0844 871 7660 to order tickets.

Have a pick of either of the above. Just because it’s getting cold doesn’t mean you can’t be out and about having fun.
