Robbie picks out a playlist of his top 5 Winter tunes to keep you casting through the next few weeks..
Following on from a few secret discussions held at Live HQ, me and your fellow music editor Leanne, have decided to bring you our TOP 5 favourite tracks of the week, every week. You can find Leanne’s picks from last week here
The nights are drawing in, the trees are bare, and Winter’s calling. This week i give you a mix of tracks perfect to soundtrack a cold winters day. From warming folk, to reserved crisp cuts beats. Enjoy.
5. Lucy Cait – Walk Away
A star in the midst of the busy south east london music scene. Lucy plays quickly strum folk, and tells stories that warm the cockles of your heart.

4. Sweetheart Of Kairi – Approaching Farewell (Stumbleeine Remix)
Taken from the Sweetheart Of Kairi E.P, this track seems to suspend reality, drawing seconds into minutes. With something of a Burial, 2-step charm about it. It’s excellent for a moment to draw yourself away from life’s challenges. You can listen/buy the full EP here -

3. King Krule – The Noose Of Jah City
There’s something about the beautifully home-produced feel of this that just grabs me. Haunting lyrics, and big whirling orbs of guitar that surround you.
Perfect.
2. Capac – See The Young (Featuring Kate Smith)
Big. Clubby. Synthy. These are two lads from Liverpool who I can’t stay away from..
1. Message To Bears – Wolves (Phosphorescent Cover)
Now, this is beyond excellent. It’s smooth, haunting, and an emotionally casting five minutes of brilliance.

Enjoy!
