Last year it was all about colour-blocking and some of us have decided to carry that on and bring it into 2012! The neutral look: try your coloured jeans with a white top & black jacket-it’s easy to pull off this way as Hayden Panettiere displays…
Mixing with similar shades: If your jeans are a rich shade, wear them with similarly bright colours and if they’re a pastel colour (a massive s/s 2012 trend) then pair with equally soft shades-simple!
The prints/patterns look: Leopard print, stripes, florals and polka dots can help make your jeans POP. If you like to be daring and love attention, this is great– but be careful with the accessories. Don’t make a statement with the shoes if you’re already saying it all with the jeans AND the top. No one wants to look like a drunken drag queen!
And lastly…
Denim on denim: There’s nothing wrong with pairing your coloured jeans with a denim shirt.
Of course, brightly coloured denim isn’t a new thing in the fashion world, but this season there really is a shade for every style! So where can you get your hands on this hot item? Almost every shop on the high street has this trend in store and you will love the prices.
