One of the most famous American vocal groups of all time came to Brixton for their 20th anniversary. Shineze reports…
Boys II Men are the most successful r&b group of all time. It doesn’t matter how old they get, they still manage to maintain their legendary status – even young people are talking about them and listening to their amazing music.
I have to admit, the Boys II Men concert was the best I have ever been to – Brixton Academy was packed from top to bottom. People were screaming wildly for them to come on stage, some were even getting angry because they were taking their time to show off their vocals.
Well, when they finally graced the stage, they sang all of their top hits including ‘End of the Road’. My favorite song of the night was ‘Water Runs Dry’ because when I was younger I always use to hear my mum sing it.
Believe it or not, the boys still know how to get the girls attention, too. The American R&B group sang their hit ‘I’ll Make Love To You’ while giving out red roses to the audience.
I was so amazed at their voices…they left this young 16-year-old speechless. I was so shocked because their voices were fantastic. The highlight of the night for me was when both Shawn Stockman and Nathan Morris started to point at me, then Shawn smiled directly at me. I can’t describe my excitement…all the girls in the audience were SO jealous!
