Lana Del Rey’s album is a thoughtful, haunting and stunning record. I was a little miffed that she’s been slated so much recently. What were people expecting from her, really? An ‘Abbey Road’ or a ‘Let It Bleed’ come on – for a debut there’s some pretty impressive work ‘National Anthem’ is a standout. As soon as I saw Bruno Mars in the crowd first hand when Adele won her first award, I knew he’d win as let’s face it, it’s always better when artists collect their awards in person. I dislike Coldpay, always have and always will. ‘The Scientist’ is a good tune though. And since when is Jay Z/Kanye classed as a group? Give me strength. Good for Ed Sheeran though, i’m not a big fan generally of his, but you can’t take away his sheer hard work and dedication away from him – Noel Gallagher doesn’t need that award, Adele – she’s just stunning isn’t she?

Are you serious, One Direction were nominated for a Brit…like really? I’m suspicious … . Simon Cowell has some links with the Brit Judges me thinks…how they got to be nominated (let alone bag a win) is beyond

Was sooo gutted that Katy B didn’t receive any nominations…her album was so DOPE *dissapointed* I think the Brits are very predictable and fail to champion the variety in British music…it’s all very standard pop.

interesting article…. i live in Cape Town, South Africa and I am amazed at the number of mobile phones in the hands of the less fortunate. I am aware that these are no always the most recent additions to the mobile world, but hey, the networks love the fact they have another addict.
