Fitburner+ is a complete rip-off in our opinion. It contains a load of fruit powders that will have absolutely zero impact on your physique, your fat loss progress, or your training. Some people say that raspberry ketones burn fat, but they don’t (not that we even necessarily get these ketones here). The only true fat burner in Fitburner+ is the caffeine anhydrous. The B Vitamins will support good energy levels, but they’re nothing to get excited about. A low quality fat burner if we’ve ever seen one.
Our Fitburner+ Review
Fitburner+ is one of the most popular fat burners on UK Amazon right now. It seems to be a German-made product, judging by the official website at least (which is in German but with options for English, Italian, and Spanish). But as is often the case, a product that has proven extremely successful in Germany has made a big break in the UK as well. As it stands, there are dozens of highly positive Fitburner+ reviews online, and a few highly negative ones.
What does this fat burner claim to do exactly?
Why is Fitburner+ so popular right now?
According to the official website, Fitburner+ does the following:
- Speeds up metabolism
- Accelerates and promotes fat loss
- Improves “muscular performance” during training
- Reduces appetite and promotes feeling of fullness
This is a fantastic range of benefits. If Fitburner+ can actually deliver on all of these points, then it will be a brilliant fat loss aid. If it even delivers on half of them it will be a better product than 80% of the fat burners on the market right now!
So, does Fitburner+ really work?
Is it safe? Will it cause side effects?
How does it compare to similar products on the market right now?

That is not what we wanted to see!
A bunch of fruit extracts with no real fat burning potential, some B Vitamins, and a bit of caffeine – hardly a contender for our top rated fat burner.
The Fitburner+ formula is really disappointing. As the website says, the formula is built around Garcinia Cambogia. That is the only ingredient in here that is actually thought to be a powerful fat burner.
Sadly, there is little evidence that it significantly affects appetite. Satisfaction with food, yes. But does it lead to greater fat loss? The data is not clear on that one.
The rest of the Fitburner+ formula is uninspiring.
We get some fruit extracts with literally zero ability to influence fat loss, athletic performance, or body composition. These fruits might be good, healthy foods to incorporate into your diet, but potent fat burners they are not.
Will the other ingredients help with overall health and body function? Yes, absolutely.
Do they constitute a premium, high-grade fat burning supplement? Absolutely not.
Let’s go through these points in a little more detail.
Main Weakness – Garcinia Cambogia Is Bogus!
Basically, there isn’t anything positive about this formula that we think deserves talking about.
There’s not one major selling point to Fitburner+.
From our perspective, and when weighed against the kind of products on offer today for a similar price to Fitburner+, it’s all negatives.
Our main problem is probably the fact that the formula is constructed around Garcinia Cambogia.
Garcinia Cambogia is widely claimed to be a powerful fat burner. Some claim that it works by suppressing appetite. Others claim that it directly stimulates fat metabolism. According to Fitburner+, it does both. In our opinion, it does neither.
Plenty of studies have been done on Garcinia Cambogia’s supposed antiobesity properties. Some have found it to be effective, while others have found it to be less effective than placebo. A small number of studies have found that Garicnia Cambogia supplementation has a negative effect – it led to less fat loss!
You will routinely see people cite studies like this rodent trial in support of Garcinia Cambogia. In that trial, researchers found that rats fed Garcinia Cambogia showed less weight regain after a period of dieting compared with control.
However, positive results from Garcinia appear to be restricted to a few rodent studies.
Most human clinical trials have found that Garcinia Cambogia supplementation does not lead to greater bodyweight loss, or even greater satiety, than placebo (source). Even large doses of Garcinia Cambogia do not seem to increase satiety in humans (source).
It is obvious to us – as it should now be to you – that Garcinia Cambogia is not the reliable, potent fat burner it is made out to be. Its effects are evident in rats, and even then the results are not consistent across studies.
Fitburner+ builds its whole formula around Garcinia Cambogia.
It is one of the only substances in this fat burner with supposed fat burning potential, and it is completely bogus.
Garcinia has the largest serving size in Fitburner+…and it is ineffective at reducing appetite in humans.
Fitburner+ users are getting poor value for money and worse end results than people using other fat burner because the manufacturer has used this over-hyped, unproven ingredient!
- Caffeine anhydrous dose a little low
- We don’t want useless fruit powder
- Vitamin stack is straight up boring
The use of Garcinia Cambogia as a main ingredient is the biggest flaw in the Fitburner+ formula.
But it isn’t the only thing wrong with Fitburner+.
There are a lot of things we dislike about this fat burner.
Our biggest concern after the Garcinia is the fact that it contains several fruit powders that offer no benefits whatsoever.
These fruit powders are not known for enhancing fat loss, promoting muscle retention, or improving athletic performance.
Mango powder has no meaningful effect on the body.
Pineapple wont help with your cut in any way whatsoever.
Raspberry isn’t going to make a blind bit of difference to your progress.
You certainly aren’t going to see big improvements in athletic performance or health from 150-300mg of these fruit powders!
Yes, eating more foods like pineapple and raspberries is a good idea if you’re dieting. The fibre, antioxidants, natural sugars, and water will help keep you healthy, energized, and full all day long. The simple sugars will fuel your training better than fructose-filled energy drinks.
But that doesn’t mean they have any place in a premium fat burner.
These are just useless filler ingredients offering no added benefits whatsoever. They needlessly drag up the cost of Fitburner+ without giving you anything in return.
Another big issue is the small dose of caffeine we get from Fitburner+.
The leading fat burners today will either contain no caffeine at all – making them suitable for everybody – or they will contain enough caffeine to actually make a difference to your cut.
Fitburner+ falls in the middle; no man’s land.
Each serving of this fat burner provides 75mg of caffeine anhydrous. Granted, this is a purer form than regular caffeine, which means it packs more of a punch on a gram-for-gram basis.
But 75mg is still roughly the same as you get from a single shot of espresso (your morning Americano contains about 60-85mg of caffeine on average depending on vendor).
The Fitburner+ daily serving is split into 3 capsules. We like it when fat burners do this, as it means you can split your dose up equally throughout the day. This means you can keep yourself in a prime fat burning state 24/7.
But 75mg split between 3 doses is practically nothing.
Taking 25mg of caffeine is going to have a minimal impact on your energy levels, your focus, or your motivation.
We would rather Fitbuner+ contain a decent serving of caffeine (e.g 250mg) or none at all. At least with none it could easily be stacked with caffeine-dense pre-workouts, coffee, or other supplements. At least it would be suitable for people highly sensitive to caffeine.
Our favourite fat burners are those which either dose caffeine high enough to have a massive impact on your performance and fat loss, or those which don’t contain any at all (allowing you to add in caffeine as needed).
Fitburner+ tries to go down the middle, and ends up missing both ideals.
Fitburner+ Side Effects – Is It Safe?
Fitburner+ looks like a safe and side effect-free fat burner to us.
There is nothing in the formula which gives us serious cause for concern.
The ingredients are all pretty much benign; most of the formula is taken up by things like pineapple and raspberry powder.
Garcinia Cambogia has been thoroughly studied in dozens of clinical trials and has not once been found to cause serious side effects. Some users report mild digestive problems while using Garcinia Cambogia, but this is extremely rare.
Even the caffeine dose is not something to be seriously worried about here – 75mg per day is not going to cause drastic side effects. It is just like having an extra small black coffee per day.
Of course, if you have a severely low tolerance to stimulants, or you’re already consuming a lot of caffeine, then it’s a different story.
You need to evaluate your sensitivity to caffeine and calculate your existing intake carefully before you add in any extra from supplements. Caffeine is a powerful stimulant, and going over your limit by even 100mg can have a big impact.

Please be aware of the following facts while reading our fat burner reviews:
- We are not doctors
- This is not medical advice
You need to do your own research carefully before buying any of the products discussed on this site. If you have any concerns, no matter how small, you must talk to your GP. At the very least, get the opinion of a qualified medical professional (a real medicine practitioner, not an “alternative health specialist”).
Fitburner Review Summary – Is It Any Good?
Those of you who have read the full Fitburner+ review will know that we’re less than impressed with this fat burner.
The formula is entirely reliant on Garcinia Cambogia. As we explained in some detail above, Garcinia Cambogia does not seem to be effective in humans.
All of the studies showing good results from Garcinia Cambogia were done on rats. Humans trials routinely show now greater effect from Garcinia Cambogia supplementation than placebo.
So the biggest ingredient in Fitburner+ is bogus.
The rest of the formula is made up of useless fruit powders, some stingy doses of B Vitamins, and a small serving of caffeine.
The small dose of caffeine is irritating for us – we’d rather enough caffeine to make a difference, or none so that it is suitable for people who want a stim-free supplement.
You don’t have to look very hard to find a better fat burner than Fitburner+. No matter what your goals are, there are products better suited to them than this one.
