Raw One have obviously tried to produce a good fat burner here, but unfortunately, they’ve failed. With THERMORAW focuses on all the wrong ingredients. The largest doses have been given to raspberry fruit extract, which is completely useless for fat loss, and African mango, which is like a substandard Glucomannan. We get small doses of Tyrosine, ALCAR, and caffeine. The saving graces the Green Coffee Bean Extract, the Capsicum, and the Chromium. But these ingredients alone don’t justify the THERMORAW price tag.
Our Raw One THERMORAW Review
Raw One is a relatively new supplement brand. They’ve not been on the scene for that long, but they’re already starting to make an impression. We’ve already reviewed ALPHARAW, their specialised testosterone booster. As you’ll see if you read the review, we weren’t too impressed! Raw One THERMORAW is a fat burner. Specifically, it is described as a “T5 fat burner for men & women”. But what does THERMORAW actually do? What are the specific benefits that users are told they can expect?
According to Raw One, THERMORAW delivers the following benefits:
- Suppressed appetite
- Increased energy levels
- Enhanced glucose metabolism
- Supports utilization of fat for fuel during exercise
This last promise is really interesting. Generally speaking, if you want to use fat for fuel during exercise and not blood glucose, then you need to be in a fasted state – that is, you need to have run out of glucose, thereby forcing the body to turn to its fat stores.
You can encourage the use of fat for fuel with natural supplementation, but the effect is not direct nor anywhere near as powerful as when using exogenous hormones.
So we’re interested to see how Raw One THERMORAW delivers on this promise!
Does THERMORAW really work?
Will it cause side effects? Is it safe for frequent use?
How good does it look when compared to the best fat burners on the market today?
To find out, read our full, detailed THERMORAW review below. We cover every angle – ingredients, doses, side effects, and price. Have you been using THERMORAW? What did you think? Let us know in the comments what you experienced!
Take a look at the Raw One THERMORAW formula:
If you’re a little disappointed, you’re not alone.
This is not exactly a revolutionary formula. Nor is particularly high quality.
THERMORAW contains many of the same old ingredients we see in every low budget fat burner on sale today.
Many of them have been conclusively proven to be bunk – they do nothing to promote fat loss in humans. They’re just used in fat burners because people believe they work, and manufacturers have no problem profiting off that belief.
The best example of this in THERMORAW is the Raspberry Extract. We don’t know what is in this extract exactly, but it doesn’t matter; there’s nothing in raspberries which is known to have a meaningful effect on fat loss.
Bladderwrack Extract likewise has no established fat burning properties.
African Mango can help with appetite, but it’s not very powerful.
That said, we do get some great ingredients in THERMORAW. The dose size is spot-on in places too. We get 100mg of good quality Green Coffee Bean Extract, 100mg of Capsicum, and a very good serving of Chromium (166% of your RDI). Together, these ingredients can make a real difference to your physique over the course of a cut.
But they are not enough by themselves to justify a ~£25 price tag. You can get far better results using a more comprehensive, powerful, less wasteful fat burner.
Let’s go through these issues in a little more detail.
- Good serving of Green Coffee Bean
- Good serving of Capsicum
- Generous serving of Chromium
Despite its many flaws, THERMORAW actually packs a bit of a punch in some really important areas.
For example, each serving provides 100mg of high quality Capsicum Extract.
Many of you will know intuitively how Capsicum helps with fat loss. Consuming capsicum extract raises your internal body temperature. Basically, capsaicin (the oil in chili which makes it spicy) is an irritant. The body interprets capsaicin as “heat”, so to combat it, it acts as though it is being exposed to high temperatures – you sweat, your blood vessels dilate, and your heart rate increases.
This all costs calories. Lots of calories.
By consuming a capsicum extract at regular intervals throughout the day, you can effectively raise your baseline, resting metabolic rate. That is, you can increase the number of calories you burn at rest. This puts you in a deeper caloric deficit without having to cut even more calories.
Obviously, Capsicum is dose dependent – the more you consume, the greater the effects.
But you really don’t need to be consuming any more than 100mg of high quality capsicum extract per day to see serious results.
It’s also great to see a fat burner utilizing Chromium.
Chromium is one the minerals that people tend to always overlook. Supplements always go out of their way to provide you with zinc and magnesium, but they usually neglect chromium. This is a big mistake, especially if your goal is to minimize fat retention!
Chromium is extremely effective at improving the body’s response to insulin. Basically, supplementing with chromium has been shown to decrease the severity of the insulin spikes which occur after you’ve eaten. It also seems to prevent the significant drops in blood sugar that many people experience throughout the day, especially when fasting.
Put simply, chromium helps insulin do its job better (source).
Having healthy chromium levels means you get less of an extreme “store” response to food, and less of an extreme “sugar crash” when you haven’t eaten in a few hours.
You can get plenty of chromium from eating cruciferous vegetables. However, if you want to minimize fat storage and really make a dramatic difference to your physique, supplementing with chromium is a good idea.
You get 166% of your RDI of chromium from THERMORAW. That’s plenty.
- Main ingredient is totally useless
- African Mango is a substandard appetite suppressant
- Glucomannan dosed too low
- Caffeine dosed a little low
- Not enough Tyrosine
There are some strong selling points to THERMORAW. But unfortunately, we think the weaknesses massively outweigh the strengths.
The biggest problem is that the main ingredient in THERMORAW – the raspberry fruit extract – has absolutely no effect on fat loss.
None in the slightest.
Raspberry fruit extract has about as much chance of improving your physique as a glass of water. Less so in fact; at least the water keeps you hydrated and fills you up. Raspberry extracts don’t even do that!
We don’t know exactly what this raspberry extract is – that is, we don’t know what’s been extracted here. But Raw One are probably suggesting that it’s raspberry ketones. These organic compounds are common in fat burners, but not because they’re effective. They’re just used because they have the word “ketone” in their name, so people assume it must have something to do with ketosis.
It doesn’t. “Ketone” refers to the structure of a compound – nothing more. Raspberry ketones have no function in the human body. They cannot be used as fuel. They do not “trigger” ketosis (which is impossible anyway).
There is no compound in raspberries which is known to have a significant fat burning effect when consumed by humans.
We think Raw One have either been bamboozled by other manufacturers’ marketing copy, or they want to ride the raspberry ketone wave too. They certainly haven’t included it here because they found compelling evidence that it works – no such evidence exists.
The fact that Raw One THERMORAW uses Raspberry Fruit Extract as its main ingredient is a big red flag to us. We expect more from premium fat burners. So should you.
We think it is a shame that Raw One decided to use African Mango as THERMORAW’s main appetite suppressant.
In our experience, African Mango is an unreliable appetite suppressant. It does work the majority of the time. However, it doesn’t produce the same effects as glucomannan. It just doesn’t leave us feeling as satisfied or as comfortably full as glucomannan. The effects never seem to last as long.
On top of that, we only ever experience side effects when using African Mango. These are rare and mild, but we never get bloating with glucomannan.
Now, Raw One have included some glucomannan in THERMORAW. However, they’ve only included 100mg. By contrast, they’ve used 250mg of African Mango. We would have much preferred it if they’d just used a lot more glucomannan and dropped the African Mango entirely.
Both of these ingredients do the same thing. One of them just does it a lot better.
If a supplement has a premium price tag, we expect nothing but the best ingredients in generous quantities. THERMORAW lets us down on this front here.
THERMORAW Side Effects – Is It Safe?
Whether or not THERMORAW is safe depends both on you and the amount you’re taking per day.
Raw One state that you should take between 1 and 3 capsules of THERMORAW per day.
How many capsules you take will obviously make an enormous difference to the side effects you experience from THERMORAW.
The main side effect risk if obviously the caffeine.
A single capsule of Raw One THERMORAW contains just over 80mg of caffeine. That’s roughly what you get from a single espresso. So for most users, a single capsule isn’t going to cause noticeable side effects. For others, 80mg is enough to cause jitters, hypertension, and insomnia. If that applies to you, you should probably use a stimulant-free fat burner like Performance Lab SPORT Fat Burner.
However, taking 3 capsules brings the caffeine dose up to 250mg of caffeine.
You SHOULD NOT consume that much caffeine in a single sitting. It would cause serious adverse effects no matter how good you think your tolerance is.
Even when spaced over an entire day, that is quite a lot of caffeine for some of you. Side effects are likely to include:
- Difficulty focusing
- Shortness of breath
You need to be careful that you don’t end up inadvertently overdosing on caffeine. Work out what your existing caffeine intake is from coffee, tea, and other supplements. If you are already pushing 250mg per day as it is, maybe think twice before adding in an extra 250mg on top of that!
Chronic caffeine over-consumption is dangerous – take it seriously!
Users may also want to consider the potential side effects of consuming large quantities of capsicum extract (digestive discomfort, cramps, diarrhoea) and African Mango (bloating, constipation, cramps).
If you do experience any side effects while using THERMORAW, stop using it, get medical attention right away, and contact the manufacturer. If possible, share your experiences with us in the comments section at the end.

Raw One THERMORAW Review Conclusion – Is It A Good Fat Burner?
A lot of you will have skipped the bulk of our THERMORAW review and come straight to the conclusion. We’ll therefore try to be as concise as we can here.
We don’t think THERMORAW is a terrible fat burner. But nor do we think it is particularly good.
Overall, we think THERMORAW is an over-priced fat burner. If the manufacturer made some slight changes to the formula, it would be a much more effective, economical supplement. But as it stands, the formula is too weak and too full of useless substances to deserve our money.
The main ingredient in THERMORAW is Raspberry Fruit Extract. This ingredient has zero effect on fat loss, body composition, or athletic performance. There isn’t a single substance in raspberries which is known to have a meaningful impact on fat loss. Raspberry ketones are often said to enhance fat loss, but they don’t – it’s all just baseless, unproven hype. In any case, this isn’t raspberry ketones; we have no idea what is in this raspberry fruit extract. It could be mostly water or Vitamin C.
That is THERMORAW’s main ingredient.
Need we say more?
Despite its relatively low price, we think THERMORAW represents poor value for money. If Raw One dropped the Raspberries, the African Mango, and replaced them with decent ingredients, it’d be a much better fat burner.
If you want real results, we recommend using a more professional, refined, powerful fat burner – one with all the fat trimmed off.
